Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars unless otherwise specified. Rates valid according to specific date of travel until 31 March 2009 or as stated.
Information about Woodduck Bookings
- Unless otherwise advised in writing, WOODDUCK is the co-ordinator of the services to be provided and acts only as an agent between the passenger and the principal supplier, thus WOODDUCK do not hold any liability for actions of either the supplier or the passenger.
- Once a booking is confirmed you must print out the voucher provided and present it to the supplier of the service on arrival/check in.
Booking Payment
For the majority of bookings made by WOODDUCK, we take full payment once your booking is confirmed. However, some hostels only require us to take the first night's stay as a deposit. In this instance, we also charge a NON-REFUNDABLE $5.50 pp booking fee. If you wish to book within 2 days, you will need to contact WOODDUCK directly on +61 2 93585856 for immediate advice. Normal office hours are Mon-Fri 8.30am - 5pm, AEST.
Amendments
Amendments to your booking will be faster and easier if processed via e-mail prior to your departure. YOU MUST ADVISE US IN WRITING VIA EMAIL OR FAX OF ANY AMENDMENT OR CANCELLATION AND AWAIT CONFIRMATION FROM US. Cancellations - Accommodation (UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED ON PROPERTY PAGE): Cancellations advised more than 2 days prior to arrival: No penalty (Fully refundable)
Cancellations advised 2 or fewer days prior to arrival: 1 night penalty per person. (Partially refundable) Additional penalties may apply for specific properties - these will be given on each hostel page. If you fail to cancel or turn up for a reservation, you will incur a 100% no show fee and NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN.
* Cancellations during peak travel times may not be allowed less than 1 month prior to arrival (Christmas, New Years, Mardi Gras, Australian Open, etc). If you are unsure please ask.
Cancellations - Arrival Packages (' unless otherwise stated on product page): Cancellations advised more than 7 days prior to arrival: No penalty Cancellations advised between 3 and 7 days prior to arrival: 50% penalty per person. Cancellations advised less than 3 days prior to arrival: NO REFUNDS.
Cancellations - Tours & Diving/Adventure Packages: Please note that tours will have different cancellation policies outside of our own: please ask at time of booking and read the details on the individual product/tour pages. YOU MUST ADVISE US VIA EMAIL OF ANY CANCELLATIONS AND AWAIT CONFIRMATION FROM US.
All services are subject to conditions of the contract, any restrictions and endorsements written on the voucher, any regulations of the principal supplier of the services and any other conditions advised in writing. All services are specified on the voucher and any extras should be directly paid for to the supplier.
WOODDUCK is not responsible for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses arising out of injury, accident or death, damage to or loss of baggage or property, inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, disappointment, upset or frustration arising from:
- The act of omission of any party
- Mechanical breakdown, government actions, weather or any factors beyond the controls of WOODDUCK
- The passenger's failure to obtain any necessary documentation
- The passenger's failure to follow any instructions including, but not limited to, those regarding check-in, check-out, baggage handling
- The cancellation or alteration for any reason of the travel service offered
- Any physical disabilities and any medical or health related problems experienced by the passenger.
